Now offering home inspection services

With nearly 20 years of experience in residential construction, renovations, and home improvements, I bring a practical, real-world perspective to home inspections and consultations.

I’m here to help you clearly understand the current condition of a home — including any safety concerns, deficiencies, or repairs that may be needed today — so you can make informed and confident decisions.

When you’re making one of the largest investments of your life, you deserve clear information, straightforward guidance, and someone who understands homes from the inside out.

SERVICES

Helping to ensure the safety and quality of your home

Our services offer a complete inspection of your home with a comprehensive report of all findings.

Pre-Purchase

Buying a home is one of the biggest investments most people will make. A pre-purchase inspection helps you understand the property’s current condition before finalizing your decision.

During the inspection I evaluate the major visible systems of the home including structure, exterior elements, roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling systems, insulation, ventilation, and interior finishes. You’ll receive a detailed report outlining observations, maintenance items, and areas that may require repair or further evaluation.

My role is not to predict future events, but to identify present conditions and help you understand what they may mean for the home going forward.

Mid-Construction

If you’re in the middle of a renovation or construction project, a mid-construction consultation can provide an additional set of experienced eyes.

Drawing on years of hands-on renovation and building experience, I review visible work such as framing, structural alterations, moisture management details, and general construction practices. These consultations can help identify concerns early — before work is covered by insulation, drywall, or finishes.

This service is designed to support homeowners and provide additional peace of mind during significant renovation or building projects. It does not replace municipal or building code inspections.

 Walk Through/
Consultation

A walk through/ consultation is designed for homeowners preparing to sell their property.

During this visit we walk through the home together and discuss any visible issues that may come up during a buyer’s inspection. This allows sellers to better understand potential concerns ahead of listing and decide whether they want to address anything beforehand.

This consultation is informal and advisory in nature and does not include a written report or photographs. The goal is simply to provide practical insight so there are fewer surprises.

Specialty

Not every situation requires a full home inspection. Sometimes homeowners simply want experienced guidance on a specific concern.

Specialty consultations may include:

  • Structural movement or settling

  • Moisture intrusion or ventilation concerns

  • Renovation or workmanship reviews

  • General maintenance planning for homeowners

Why choose a professional

Hiring a professional home inspector offers numerous benefits that ultimately lead to a smoother, more successful process, whether buying or selling your home. Here are several reasons why entrusting your home to a professional is highly advantageous:

Expertise and Experience: Professionals bring years of experience and specialized skills to the table. They possess the knowledge and expertise necessary to tackle various aspects of the inspection process, ensuring high-quality results.

Time and Efficiency: Inspecting a home is a time-consuming process that requires careful planning and execution. Professionals have the expertise to efficiently manage the inspection timeline, minimizing delays and ensuring timely completion.

Cost Savings: While it may seem counterintuitive, hiring a professional can actually save you money in the long run. Professionals have completed the necessary training to ensure you are receiving the best inspection for your value.  Additionally, their expertise helps prevent costly mistakes and rework, ultimately saving you money on repairs and replacements down the line.

Stress Reduction: Undertaking the purchase of a home can be overwhelming, particularly for homeowners with busy schedules. Hiring a professional alleviates much of the stress associated with the inspection process, as they handle all aspects of the inspection from planning to completion, allowing you to focus on other priorities.
