Our Story
Moyse Contracting was founded by James Moyse and is built on his vision to help home owners alter their existing spaces so they can stay in them longer. Whether it be due to lifestyle changes, mobility issues, or a need to create more space, James is passionate about making spaces new again.
He designed his business so every client feels like they are family and feels supported during what could be a stressful time. His commitment to his customer journey is what drives everything he does at Moyse Contracting and is what clients value the most.
Meet The Team
James Moyse
Owner/Licensed Carpenter
Born and raised in Owen Sound, James is quickly becoming recognized as a dependable local contractor. Since beginning a career in the construction industry in 2007, James has been obsessed with building, renovations and the entire trade of carpentry in general. After Serving an apprenticeship and obtaining red seal certification, then working as a journeyman carpenter, James sought out self employment and a clientele of his own.
James resides in Owen Sound with his wife Lacey and their three cats.
Jamie Albert
Carpenter
Jamie joined the team spring of 2022. Jamie brings years of experience, attention to detail and a positive attitude. We are so thankful to have him be a part of our team!
Julia Bittorf
Administrative Assistant
Julia joined the team in 2025 and brings years of administrative, social media and community experience to our organization. We are very happy to have Julia as part of our team!
